Aims
- Deepen theoretical knowledge: Study psychology, sociology, and health sciences in relation to care.
- Explore health policies and legislation: Understand safeguarding, equality laws, and professional standards.
- Develop practical skills: Gain experience through placements in care homes, hospitals, or schools.
- Enhance research and analytical skills: Learn to evaluate health data, case studies, and care practices.
- Prepare for higher education: Provide a strong foundation for university courses in nursing, midwifery, social work, or public health.

- Shape future professionals: Equip learners with the skills and mindset to enter health and social care careers.
- Promote leadership and responsibility: Encourage students to take initiative in care settings and advocate for service users.

In KS4, years 10 and 11, students will study three components: Human Lifespan Development, Health and Social Care Services and Values , Health and Well-being
